This quote is from the Washington Post article.  It is a fascinating article about the aftermath of really bad behavior.  More people should realize that it isn’t just that he cheated; he cheated on a dying wife, he denied a child not because he really didn’t think she was his but because she was inconvenient…that is more than a bad mistake that is a demonstration of serious character flaws.
